Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 7 August 2026

Anva creates realistic talking avatars, which makes trust and consent essential. This policy is part of our Terms. Violating it can result in content removal, avatar takedown, and account termination.

You must have the right to the likeness

  • Only create an avatar from a face you own or have explicit permission to use.
  • Do not impersonate any real person — public figure or private individual — without their consent.
  • Do not clone or imitate a real person's voice without their permission.

Prohibited content and uses

  • Deception & fraud — impersonation to deceive, scams, phishing, fake endorsements, or misinformation presented as real.
  • Non-consensual & sexual content — sexual or intimate imagery of any person without consent, and any sexual content involving minors (which we report to authorities).
  • Minors — creating avatars of minors without the rights and consents required by law.
  • Harassment & hate — content that harasses, threatens, defames, or promotes hatred or violence against people or groups.
  • Illegal activity — anything unlawful, or that infringes intellectual-property, privacy, or publicity rights.
  • Undisclosed deception — deploying an avatar in a way that leads people to believe they're talking to a real human when they are not, where that would deceive or harm them.
  • Platform abuse — attempting to bypass safety controls, rate limits, or domain restrictions, or interfering with the service.

Disclose that it's AI

When you deploy an avatar to the public, don't misrepresent it as a real person where that would mislead. Make it clear, where appropriate, that users are interacting with an AI.

Reporting & enforcement

If you believe an avatar or session violates this policy — including impersonation of you or someone you represent — email hello@penguinrobotics.net with the page or link where you saw it. We review reports and may disable the avatar, end its active sessions, and suspend the responsible account. We may act on violations with or without notice, and we cooperate with law enforcement where required.
